The Gazi Faculty of Education Research and Development (R&D) Unit held an online meeting on 6 October 2026 to discuss and plan its activities for the autumn semester.

Following the introduction of the GEF R&D Unit's activity calendar to its members, the current status of the training videos on the TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B application processes was reviewed, and preparations were made for an in-person training session for students.

During the meeting, it was decided to organise various professional development activities for academic staff throughout the autumn semester, including NVivo training, experience-sharing sessions on publishing articles in SSCI-indexed journals, AI-assisted project proposal writing, and Horizon Europe project workshops. In addition, the development of an individual consultation-based event to support project development processes and the establishment of a partner-matching platform to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration within the faculty were discussed.

The meeting concluded with members sharing their views and suggestions, and the next meeting was scheduled for 3 November 2026.
