At the meeting of the Gazi Faculty of Education Research and Development (R&D) Unit, held on 5 May 2026, key decisions were made regarding academic and research activities to be carried out within the Faculty.

The meeting addressed the establishment of selection and evaluation criteria for targeted, infrastructure-based projects to be submitted by the Faculty under the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) programme, and a roadmap was agreed upon for applications to be received from the departments. The production and editing processes for project training videos for TÜBİTAK 2209 student projects, as well as the standards to be followed in the video presentations, were also discussed.

As part of the Unit’s training activities, new training sessions on topics requested by the Faculty’s research assistants and academic staff were planned to be held by the end of June. In this context, it was agreed to organise an online discussion on TÜBİTAK and Erasmus+ projects, schedule a training session on qualitative research using NVivo, and organise an event entitled “Projects in 100 Questions for the 100th Anniversary” as a two-part series.

The meeting also included an evaluation of academic and scientific activities to be organised as part of the 100th anniversary of Gazi Faculty of Education. A proposal to exhibit posters showcasing completed projects by the pool in front of the Rectorate Building was also discussed.

It was agreed that the next meeting would be held on 2 June 2026.
