The Gazi Faculty of Education Research and Development (R&D) Unit held its July meeting online on Friday, 3 July 2026, at 19:00, chaired by Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Serçin KARATAŞ. The meeting focused on activities carried out during the first half of 2026 and plans for the upcoming period.
The latest progress on the TÜBİTAK 2209 student project training videos, planned for production in 2026, was reviewed, and the process for completing the videos was discussed.
The preparation of a report on the targets achieved during the first half of 2026 was also included on the agenda, with particular attention given to the scope and content of the report.
General proposals for the 2026–2027 fall semester were then discussed. These included organising breakfast meetings for sharing and discussing R&D-related topics and gamification-based activities, conducting a research study comparing the Faculty’s R&D activities with those of other universities, and directly inviting faculty members with relevant expertise to participate in R&D events.
It was also proposed that R&D activities be promoted through news articles and that posters highlighting these activities be displayed at the Faculty’s main entrances to increase the visibility of ongoing R&D initiatives.
The meeting concluded with the scheduling of the next meeting, followed by closing remarks and suggestions from the participants.
